Sometimes the most important part of a job is what happens before the pretty stuff goes in. That's exactly where we are with this one. The homeowner is going through a full exterior remodel, and the old foundation shrubs had to come out to make room for the work ahead.
We brought in our Kubota KX040-5 mini excavator to handle the removal cleanly and efficiently. That machine is ideal for tight residential spaces - it gets in, does the work, and keeps the surrounding areas intact. No dragging things out by hand, no unnecessary damage to the yard.
With the shrubs pulled and the bed cleared down to bare soil, the remodeling crew now has a clean slate to work with. Once their portion is wrapped up, we'll be back to finish it off right - new plantings selected to complement the updated exterior, topped with fresh mulch for a clean, finished look.
That's the part people don't always think about - sequencing the work properly. Doing the landscaping too early just means it gets torn up again. Doing it in the right order protects the investment and makes the final result look intentional from every angle.
This kind of prep work is something we handle regularly alongside larger remodeling and grading projects. If your property is heading into an update and you need the groundwork done right before things kick off, that's exactly what we're here for.
