Sometimes the best thing you can do for a property is start fresh. That was exactly the situation at this Medway restaurant. The existing plantings had run their course - overgrown, mismatched, and no longer doing the building any favors. So we brought in the mini excavator and the dump truck and got everything out clean.
Doing a full removal on a commercial property takes some planning. You're working around a parking lot, customers still coming and going, and a building that needs to look presentable throughout the process. We used plywood sheets to protect the asphalt and kept the site as tight and organized as possible while we worked through the demo.
Once the beds were cleared and prepped, we got to work on the new installation. The plant selection was chosen to complement the building's stone and gray siding - a mix of shrubs and ornamental grasses spaced out evenly along the full length of the building. The goal was a clean, structured look that holds up over time and is easy to maintain going forward.
What you end up with is a building that actually looks the part. The new plantings follow the roofline nicely and give the whole front elevation a polished, put-together feel. It's the kind of thing customers notice - even if they can't put their finger on exactly why the place looks better. We've still got irrigation and fresh mulch to finish out the job, and that'll really tie everything together.
Commercial landscape installation is a big part of what we do. Whether a property needs a full redesign or just a targeted replanting like this one, we handle it from design through installation - and we can set up ongoing maintenance so it stays looking sharp year after year.
